We offer one base package plus a selection of add-ons to make your to uniquely cater to your vision. Our base package includes generous coverage time, a highlight film, a full ceremony film, drone coverage (weather depending), and two expert videographers. Our add-ons aren’t required, but they are designed to make your highlight film even better than you could ever imagine.
We’re a small team dedicated to excellence. We own all our equipment, we edit in-house, and we don’t skimp on the details. We don't nickel and dime the things that matter most - that’s why our packages are so inclusive.

You’re watching highlight films when you’re viewing our gallery or scrolling on our YouTube page. Our highlight films tell the story of your wedding day.
We incorporate footage of your venue and special details, plus moments from throughout your day, like the bride, groom, and bridal party getting ready, first looks, private vows, photo shoots, ceremony, grand entrance to the reception, first dances, cake cutting, bouquet and garter tosses, dancing, and grand exit. Basically, if it happens - we film it, and if it makes your film better - we include it.
All highlight films include footage, vocal audio from you and your loved ones (think speeches, vows, officiant, etc.), and are set to music that matches your mood and story.

Think of it like a documentary! We shoot from 5 different cameras, so we have your wedding ceremony at all angles. We capture the entire processional, all moments at the altar, and the recessional.
We also provide concealed microphones for the officiant, bride, and groom, so we can hear all the moments without sacrificing appearances in your photos and film.

We film with a DJI Mavic Air 2S drone. In nerd-speak, it’s a really cool drone. Yes, it's fun to fly, but it also captures film in 4K, so it makes your venue shots look absolutely amazing.

You can select add-ons al-a-carte, but our larger packages include them at a discounted rate. Add-ons include full videos of your first dances, a highlight reel playing at your reception, and a teaser video sent a couple weeks after your wedding.
You can also do an engagement video shoot or get rehearsal dinner coverage, which we incorporate into your highlight film.
The Storytellers
Even Last Light’s name was born out of a love for good movies. An avid movie-lover, Michael got his first camera in 2014 - a Nikon D3200 that he paid for with his high school graduation money. He told his first wedding story in 2015 under the name “Michael Tolar Photo / Video”. He flew solo until 2020 when he adopted the name “Last Light Films”. Since then, he’s taken on Giulia as an editor and Austin as a second-shooter.
Ultimately, we film weddings and create films because we think your story is powerful and movie-worthy, and we want to help you tell it. Last Light strives to provide comprehensive filming and creative editing for each of our clients. Our aim is to raise the bar for our couples, our colleagues, and our fellow storytellers.
We specialize in cinematic wedding filmmaking, but we love all sorts of stories. We look forward to working with you and creating something timeless.
