Anna and Auston were married on April 30, 2022. Their ceremony took place at First Baptist Church of Pineville, Louisiana, and their reception was at England Airpark & Community Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. It was a gorgeous day, and we can’t wait to share some of our top takeaways from the day, their film, and a gallery of our favorite moments!
Here are our top takeaways:
Flowers make a HUGE difference! Timeless Event Productions by Amy did the most gorgeous job - watch Anna and Auston’s film, and you’ll understand. They had some of the most gorgeous florals, which really elevated the elegance of their wedding. The lilacs and purple tones were dreamy and whimsical, which matched the entire feeling of the day. Not only were the images of the bridal party fantastic because of them, so were the reception photos and video footage! If you’re wanting to elevate your wedding, don’t skimp on your flower budget!
Show off your personality with a reception dress! Anna changed into a knee-length dress after all the major events of her wedding. Wedding gowns are HEAVY, especially when you’re a southern bride getting married in the spring or summer. Anna looked comfortable and radiant in her reception dress, and she got to shake up her look. We consider that a win-win.
Getting ready at someone’s house can be fun, relaxing, and low stress. Often, getting to your wedding venue early to get ready requires extra cost, lugging all your belongings, and being cramped in a tiny space with limited access to good lighting or mirrors. Some venues design their bridal suites with this in mind, but some don’t! Ultimately, Anna’s getting ready location provided a beautiful location for pictures, and allowed the bridesmaids to spread out and use the functionality of a kitchen and space. Ultimately, check with your venue and think about how you can make getting ready a special memory for you and your crew!
